About

A look into my inspiration

Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve had a passion to create and learn. When I was 6, my teachers asked what I wanted to be when I was older, and I said without hesitation, an artist. I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pencil, but I took a real interest in science in middle school. It started when we learned about how the world around us worked, and how all of these systems were tied together. It made me want to learn more, much more. I took as many art and science classes as I could! My high school art teacher saw my passion for biology and introduced me to medical illustration. As soon as I saw those illustrations, I knew that was what I wanted to do. I graduated from RIT in 2017 with a BFA in medical illustration. Today I work as a part-time freelancer and full-time senior medical illustrator at Medscape Education, creating graphics and illustrations seen by doctors worldwide.

I’m a pastry fanatic and love suggestions to check out new bakeries and shops. I adore travel and food; in my photography section, you can check out some of my favorites.
